The silver carnation is annually awarded to individuals who voluntarily worked for culture and nature conservation.
This year the award winners were Frans and Lideke Peese Binkhorst ( Doorn) and Jack Kooistra ( Leeuwarden) and Eric Zwijnenberg ( Alkmaar)
